Fireflies and lightening
Were the two things I
Noticed as a light rain
Fell from clouds above.


हलकी सी बारिश में भीगना
तेरे संग फिर मुझे याद आया
तेरा खिलखिलाना, और शरमा
जाना फिर मुझे याद आया...


There was a woman with
Her dog strolling on the
Path, and a bunch of men
Walking up to the bars.


बरसती बूंदों की दबी आवाज़ में
खो जाना फिर मुझे याद आया
'नूर' को खोया देख 'विती' का 
वीराना फिर मुझे याद आया...

A train of thoughts led

Me to you.  Fireflies are

Just a muse and lightening

Is an excuse to remember.
